Differences between 5000CD/CS and 200

The model name change from 5000 to 100/200 occurred for the 1989 model year
in the north America market.  The car has always been known as 100/200 in
most other markets.

Other significant 1989 model changes include a new interior (redesigned
dash and door panels), and flush exterior door handles.  The Procon-Ten
safety system was added, and quattros got the Torsen center diff instead
of a manual locker.  I believe the turbo models also changed from the MC-1
to the MC-2 engine (higher compression, K24 turbo, dual knock sensors)
at that time.
