Hi Lino,

I have no BTDT on the oil pressure system, however...

It sounds like the oil pressure sender is out of spec.  Why don't you
disconnect it so it appears to the auto-check system as having infinite
resistance, and see what happens when you do you test.

You can also use some resistors across the connector to fake any reading you
wish.  You might try sending a known good signal, and a known bad signal,
and see what happens during your tests.
