As I understand it, it is very common on racetracks to use lots of
pedals at the same time - left foot braking, or doubling up the right
foot to heel and toe.

Picture - clutch in, braking hard for corner, winding engine up to
prepare to launch...

I only drive on the street, so I accelerate during curves and coast on
the straights, though.
