BTDT.  In addition I replaced the aux rad with a 19row oil cooler (tight but
fit exactly where the aux rad was), vented the hood, and removed the inner
headlights, for pix see

 WRT the starter, I rebuilt the "old" style starter (the big dog) and
recommend with either flavor that the heat shields do more for longevity than
airflow.  I'm not at all convinced the turbo runs cooler with air blown
across it, I equate that to blowing on molten steel before you touch it.
