OK, this really sucks

In the last 10 or so years since your car was built, it went from being "peppy" to almost downright slow.  Trucks these days are packing 250-300hp on just the entry models, realistically, that guy should have passed you right up.

Sorry, no offense, but 160hp doesn't go too far to accelerating a 3k lb sedan.  Drive up to Mt. View one day and I'll be happy to give you a ride in a 300+ hp version of your car can do.

Funny thing too, in the last 5 years that I've been doing q-club events, the fastest cars in '96 were chipped 5ktq's, recently at Laguna there wasn't one single 5ktq on the track, but a bunch of chipped S4tt's and 1.8t's, much faster cars by comparison.  Cars have just been getting a lot faster in the last 5 years.  Of course, chipped S4tt's weren't anything my old 80tq couldn't handle  ;)
