hehe, I know, I think I saw where you were coming from... actually, as
Mike pointed out, it is a conceivable safety/stupidity item - somehow
the engine gets stuck "full on" and you're trying to stop the car, and
it's stuck in gear... and your kid is standing in front of the garage
door...
