Type 44Q handbrake

C'mom Phil, you ALREADY know the answer to this one.
You need to buy the whole handbrake for $1731.27, but
unfortunately it's NLA.  Seriously, tho are you or the
owner "keeping" the car?  Mine is at that point as the
rod and it's connector are heavily rusted and the rod
bent as well.  It won't last much longer.  When I had
it apart, I showed the "connector" piece to a small
local machine shop.  I can have one in stainless in 2
days for $35.  With a piece of stainless threaded rod,
it's good forever.  Something to think about.  I did.
