Cracked 20vt head?

Hi all,


Has everyone ever had a cracked 20vt head (AAN type)? One of my friends has
one and he gives it to me for really cheap but I first want to know if such
things can be repaired... apparently the water passage for the exhaust
valves  is cracked into the valve springs area (so oil gets water gets into
the oil in this area)...

I wonder if this can be welded using a TIG or if I can simply forget that
head and find another one...
