Tough, but not impossible. It entails getting the newer-style wire
connectors and swapping the old ones for them.

The newer stalks are indeed much nicer, and if they fail you can replace
only one side... plus they're easier to open up.

Remember to get the stalks off a Coupe or an Avant, because you'll need the
rear wash/wipe.
