Chris,

This sound like the classic overboost fuel pump cutout which occurs when
ECU sees 1.5 Bar or more. You may not observe this on the digital readout,
as it happens so quickly there is no time to register it. Search for a
leak in the wastegate control - most commonly the lower wastegate hose is
bad. They often start with a small leak then get worse. You could also
have a torn diaphram, but rule external leaks out first.

[Otherwise car runs perfectly, but...Under heavy acceleration, it feels as
though air & fuel are briefly shut off; sort of like someone quickly
ramming
on the brakes for a fraction of a second. Doesn't happen all the
time--usually not until engine is hot, and it only lasts for may .25 sec.
or
so.

Some info: car has 200k on it; WOT is 3 years old; MM hose is 4 years old;
fuel pump & relay 4 years old. I get 1.3-4 bar. Hints? What to check?
