Hosed...Literally!

Uh, no.  I can drive the car in a complete downpour
and it runs just fine.  There's a rather large
difference between driving in the rain and pouring
water directly on the motor.  My electrical system is
just peachy.

It's not like my motor is dripping grease either, it's
plenty clean to see and work on.

I see no reason to make my engine bay sparkling clean,
especially if it makes the car run horribly and cause
me many hours of labor to track down the problem.  I
simply have other things I'd rather do.
