oil pressure strangeness in 4kq

Did you try swapping out the sending units with known good ones? That would
be my first step. I can remember this happening to my 'ol '85 4ksq. Your
high rpm oil pressure sending unit (2500rpm on up) is not working, and
triggering the buzzer and oil pressure light would be my guess. Although
when you ran it at 3000rpms it worked. Might also look at the top sending
unit connection. Try some Wurth Contact Oil spray or Stabilant 22.
