And of course, if you don't feel comfortable doing the job right then
and there, or if the shoulder doesn't afford enough solid ground to jack
up your car, or if the traffic whizzing by just isn't going to keep you
safe -- drive on the dead tire/rim to a service station, or stop and
call a tow. Price of a tire/rim or a tow is a lot less than getting hit
by an 18-wheeler doing 70mph.
