Anyone made custom power steering hoses for 89 200?

Same problem with my 1990 200 tqw, now for over a year.  Replacing the hose
did not make any difference.  No such problem with my 1987 5k turbo sedan.
I wonder what the noise could be due to.

Mine does all the same, but I'm not convinced it's an
OE spec. German hose.  Just too many strange things
about it.  Like the outer sheath being so throughly
cracked so soon in it's life span. (with the sticker
still on the hose).  Something doesn't add up.
