NAC oscilloscopes?

Lately I have been lusting after an oscilloscope, I used them while working my
masters (in ME) I should have liberated one from school, but now that I am out
in the free world what is the best option? The Fluke handhelds look nice, but at
the cost I can buy a new car and won't need the scope anymore. There are some
cheap handhelds from Velleman, does anyone know anything about them? They also
make PC based scopes, which I know even less about. I don't need super high
frequency or anything too fancy, I just want to be able to look at signals in
automtive controls and that sort of thing.
