I've searched for quite some time on the net today to find a pic of a
4000 with the factory fogs. I couldn't find one. Does anyone know
where a picture of an '85 - '87 4000 with the factory fogs installed
could be found, On-line or off?
I'm curious where in the lower grille they should be mounted. Also, I'd
like to have a look at a pic of the factory setup to see how and where
to "trim" my lower grille to accommodate the fogs. I'd like to get
these Bosch's mounted in the exact same position as the Marchel's are
supposed to be.
I like Huw's idea of using the upside down defrost switch for the
fogs... I paid roughly $130 for my "generic" Bosch fog kit (brand
new). Seems like a cheaper option than trying to round up the original
Marchel kit.

There was a lower grill - in fact, one of the ACCUSA instructors in the
Northeast has factory fogs with the factory grill in his 87.5 Coupe GT.
Essentially, the center grill is shorted, and the fogs mount just the other
side of the outside grills. A decent setup, really. I had a complete setup
that I sold not that long ago for 45 or so $...no need for them really. I
think, too, that the lights were Valeo lights, not Marchal. Mine had the
foxes, and I also had the factory foglight switch, as well as the OEM boxes.
Someone bought them on the list......if you could only track that person
down...:-)
Later!
