removing 5kT ceiling [nicely]

I'm not sure why, but I thought I sent this already, but it hasn't shown
up...one more time...


So I have an '84 5kT parts car w/ the vinyl ceiling which doesn't sag. I have
pulled all the interior parts out in the way, and I've even gotten most of
the foam
and glue off the main sections of the pad. But, I'm having trouble removing it
around the sunroof. There seems to be a thin metal strip which is glued to the
ceiling and the excess material goes under the sunroof. So anyone w/ BTDT's?
Also how do you get the padding off the sunroof itself? I thought I knew some
trick, but I forgot. TIA for the help...
