I am about to reduce the size of my fleet by one car
and have decided to part ways with my '91 80q. I am
the second owner of the car and I have every single
maintenance record since day one. This has always been
a Southern car (VA and NC) and it has no corrosion and
has never bene involoved in any kind of accident,
ever. It has always had the oil changes at 3k and
every minor/major service has always been performed on
time or earlier.

The details:
131k miles and coming off of a fresh 30k service
(plugs, wires, filters, fluids, cap & rotor, etc...).

-Lago blue/grey sport cloth

-5 speed manual trans (as all of them are)

-Power windows & locks w/ a manual crank sunroof

-New Blaupunkt CD headunit- installed using a
Crutchfield wiring harness (no wires cut).

The interior and exterior show normal signs of wear
for a 12 year old car however, nothing excessive (the
usual surface swirls, wear on driver's seat, etc.).
The tires are around 50-60% and the brakes, exhaust,
other wear and tear items have plenty of life left.
Drive this machine across the country w/o any worries.

My question to the group is: What is this car really
worth? I would prefer to sell it to someone who is
familiar with these cars and understands just how
great the quattros are (in all weather conditions).

I have checked KBB, Edmunds, etc, and found the
pricing in the $2500-$4k range. That being the case,
this would be a geat opportunity for a "lister" to
snag a great q at a great price.
