pentosin substitutes revisited - verrrrrry interesting stuff

The only stuff. If it doesn't, it's new rack time.
I've posted about Trans X in the past, as well as recommending it to
Audi specialists around here. You can get a power steering fluid and
stop leak (says approved for Audi), or if it's hard to get (like my
situation), buy the Trans X A.T. sealer and dump some in.
I had a rack in my old 5 ktq that was literally dripping all over.
Put the stuff in and a few weeks later when I had the tranny pulled,
there was no sign of any leakage, ever. Everything was dusty.
My opinion is if you have to replace components due to leakage, you
could hardly do any worse than what Audi engineering did to them in
the first place.
