It is like the hose is perished. I cut off the crimp and put some nice
silicone
(1/2" ID from memory) hose with a couple of clamps.

See other threads. I have had a hose rebuilt by a good hose shop and it
was
fine, others have had drama. Try TPC or vmautohaus for the hose.
