Well, I bit of copper grease would probably help there. I live at
the coast, and as yet I've had no issues with salt. We don't salt
the roads out in Africa, and if we did it was probably 'cos a salt-
carrying cargo truck was hi-jacked or a mini-bus taxi cut in front
of it and made it tip. :)

Is this thing really that bad? When I read posts about the Fumoto
I heard there might be issues with the valve coming undone over very
rough ground as in, say, a rock or other piece of road garbage knocking
the valve open. But you're right, the threads on the Fram unit would
probably getting packed full of crud in short order until taken care
of, in which case I think some copper anti-seize grease would made
a difference.

I'll take another look. I got to see this thing yesterday afternoon
while faffing about during application testing (booorrrrinnngg!!!)
so I didn't check the valve application list.
