I had this option in my '87 5000 tq avant.  Actually the color was beige,
which has been changed to black.  I used liquid leather to dye the entire
enterior to black.  It looks like it came that way.

I'd love to restore the original sport seats in black of course, as they
hold you in the corners better than the ones I installed from a 200Q.

[I have an 87' 5000 CS Q that was originally bought and drove around
Germany for a short time. The interior is black with suede door panels and
sport seat inserts. Was this an available option in the US? Or was it only
available in Europe?
