Sounds like you have an issue w/ your PC, Igor, not the
program, re: the issue w/ your drives and hanging installs.

I've an all-IDE setup in my PC and no issues whatsoever.

Maybe you have your CD drive on the same channel as the HD
and it hangs due to timeouts? With my IDE RAID MB, I have
four IDE channels, so everything gets its own channel, makes
it much better, considering it's IDE. I still can't do anything
while burning CDs, something that I was able to do on my old
P2-350 w/ SCSI DVD drive and IDE burner (at least for copying).

SCSI is too expensive for me to implement for a home machine.
