Luke

Just BTDT... with help from the list. Fuse number 12 (15 amp) powers the
instruments and the reverse lights.

This may help... per my post of Oct 8: "As recommended, I traced the
problem to the wiring harness that folds sharply along with the trunk hinge.
Four of the five wires were broken! Over $500 Canadian for the harness but
I figure the car is worth it. Ha, who am I kidding? A little snipping and
splicing cost me nothing."

The trunk light switch is a ground wire, as I recall, which runs back and
forth through this harness. It could be broken and ground out a broken
reverse light wire.

In my case fixing the harness stopped the fuses from blowing but
unfortunately did not cure the speedo. I then had to clean up the
connection at the speed sensor.
