Thanks for the reply Tony.
I heard from another lister about the Loctite. His logic was that he
didn't believe Audi would go through the trouble of inventing their
own. Sounds good to me.
What do you think is the equivalent of the D6 which is mentioned in
Bentley for use on the front axel nut.
And while I have your attention, are you the one who built his own power
bleeder. If you are, I would like to find out if you leave the new
brake fluid in the power bleeder or put it back into the container it
came in.

By the way, Volvo dealers have brake guide pins that are similar but
larger than the ones used on my Audi. I first thought of having them
turned down by a machine shop. On second thought why not drill the
carrier holes out to a larger diameter. They were 49.00 here at a local
Flaps.
That included 4 pins, 4 boots, 4 bolts.
