knock sensor code MCII engine help

  Listers,

  I just put the check engine light bulb in the IP and
of course I've got a code waiting for me it's
 code 2142 Knock Sensor I,
 know the Bentley saies tightening torque of 7lbs how
do I do that? with an open end wrench and guess?
 No way to put a ratchet set up on it with the wire
running through the center. Or should I just replace
it?
 There's been no power decrease but I am running an IA
stageII chip and 2.0 bar spring. And the gas is going
away to quick for my taste but I thought that the chip
was sucking up the rest of the gas I thought I should
be wasting with the additional HP.
 Any BTDT out there for me?
 Car is obviously a 90 200tqa with an MCII engine.
