Correct. i am very careful. One thing I have done recently with good
results is waxing my windshield. I did it as an experiment and it
works pretty well. When I was a kid, I made the mistake of waxing my
dad's windshield. It chattered for months after, but this time
around, no problem. The water sheds off the screen very easily.

just try not to get those things on the painted part of the car, I
suspect either will do a very nice job of stripping off any wax you
have.
