Brembo might be one of those situations of erratic quality control......I
remember getting a pair of Brembo brake rotors for a customer's VW vanagon.
As I rolled out of the shop and applied the brakes for the first
time....going no more than 5 miles an hour....the pulsation in the brake
pedal was so bad I thought it was going to shake me out of the vanagon! I
hadn't really checked the new rotors carefully, just put them on. I them
checked them with a dial indicator. Don't recall now how far out of true
the rotor was but BAD! The other rotor was fine and the replacement fine.
