Wal-Mart carries a brand (Lexor?) of rubber inserts that come in 4 or 5
different profiles, very long, which work by putting the OEM metal rib(s)
into the slots in the refill, after which you cut the extra length of
rubber off. Indistinguishable from OEM (instead of the stiff-backed refills
which have you discard the OEM ribs and often don't fit the shape of the
windshield), and not very expensive. The only problem is that oddly enough
the profile that fits that same company's complete blades is usually
unavailable, so if that's the one you need, you can only get it by calling
the manufacturer.
