Brake Warning indicator

My mechanic says that most Jaguars do the brake light trick, only the light
stays on longer. He also mentioned that the Jag has a brake accumulator
system similar to the Audi. And nobody has figured it out and everybody
just ignores it and says "They all do that.".

My brake warning light comes on at every start-up and goes out after 20
seconds.

I'm pretending I have a Jaguar.

Let me know if you get a handle on this one.
