Well, hitting the deer is a "comprehensive" claim on your insurance, and
does not increase the cost of your premium, just like all glass claims. I
always tell people, if you have a choice between hitting an animal over
another vehicle or a stationary object, choose the animal. Not only is the
survival rate much higher (for YOU, not the animal), the resulting insurance
claim is much easier to tackle, and cheaper!
Now, I remember a few months ago, someone asked why anyone would even dream
of carrying full coverage on such an old car...
Well, there's a perfect example of why I would want to - and DO carry full
coverage on my 12yo V8Q!
