I hate deer (and other animals)

Since we're all telling wacky animal stories, I have to post this one.
Several years ago my father was driving home on a foggy night on a back
country road.  The next thing he knew he hit a cow in the middle of the
road!  Thankfully he was driving an Isuzu Trooper which is pretty high off
the ground.  He wasn't going too terribly fast, but it killed the cow and
messed up the front of the vehicle pretty badly.  The cow was in the road,
because the farmer was too lazy to fix his fence.  This was the second or
third cow that had gotten hit!
