I have a little bit of info, but not much. I am unfortenately not very
experienced in turbos (yet). What I do know is that the VTG units are
made variable for better torque in the TDI applications.

The turbos in the S3 and 225 hp TT are K03 and K04 units respectively.
That would mean that they are KKK units, right? Well, after reading in a
German "Audi Atlas" it actually doesnt say that these are VTG units
though, I dont know where I picked that up. A similar VW Atlas doesnt go
that much into depth about the TDIs as the Audi book does.

As I said, I dont have that much experience. If they arent bolt-on,
they should be able to be made to fit by welding on another flange, right?

I would believe so.

They are electronically controlled, yes. I dont know how, but I would
assume that they are dependent on either rpms, boost pressure or a
combination of both.

Probably, but I dont know exactly where, other than somewhere in Europe.
Try UK perhaps, if you dont know German, that is.

I'm not too helpful, am I?

I've never heard of those, so I cant say anything about them.
