Hello everyone,
Got a call from my dad a few minutes ago. He drove to Columbus, OH this morning in the 93' 90.

Stopped at a gas station to get some directions to the place he was going, went back out, and the car wouldn't start. Sputtered a bit, but no go.

He was on his way to video an awards banquet, so he couldn't do a in depth troubleshoot yet (a lady from the hall came and picked him up). I looked through the archives, and I found two possible causes, fuel pump relay, and crank position sensors. I'm assuming that the FP relay is the same as on most of the other Audis I've owned, and it has a fuse slot. Correct?
Archives say that often times the crank sensors will function again if they cool down.

I'm thinking it's probably the relay or the fuel pump itself, as it was running fine before, then just wouldn't start again a minute or two later.

Any other ideas, or know any place in the area that's worth using, if he can't get it started? He's on the northwest side of Columbus, near Riverside dr.

Thanks a lot!
