Ghetto lowering 4k?

 Thanks everyone who answered.

A little junkyard comparo showed that the 4KQ rear springs were one coil shorter than the front springs, and they look identical in size (around) to the front springs. And the 4kQ front roll bar is thicker, so that's going on mine too! ;-)

What I'm looking to do is make a halfway decent autocrosser while I am setting up my other car. (Soon to be a SCCA Solo II CSP monster... I hope:-) So the cheaper I can do it, the better. At 2300 pounds, it's only 400 more pounds than my other car. (I like light cars)

Does anyone know if the rear axle (non-quattro 4K) is similar to any other cars? Did the Coupe GT come with the same rear axle? Did it have a sway bar?

 Thanks again!
