I have a throttle body from my 1994 100 CS that was removed when a bored ou=
t version of Blaufergnugen was installed a couple of years ago.  I inquired=
 if I could use it on my 1997 A6, but Jim Blau was uncertain, and suggested=
 contacting the quattro list.....See his comments below.  Has anyone made s=
uch a swap.  I do not want to have my car down while I wait for upgrade to =
the 97 throttle body, but may have to do so unless someone out there has ha=
d it don successfully.

Dear George, Thank you for the e-mail. We are not sure if it will fit. The =
part numbers are different and so is the throttle switch between the both o=
f them. So you will have to check the Audi news groups on line to check if =
someone else has tried this and had any problems. We have not had any of ou=
r customers tell us if they have done this. I have asked Jim and he has not=
 heard anything either. Sorry we do not have more information for you. Plea=
se tell us if you find something out.
