86 CGT E-Brake indicator

No, as mentioned, that light indicates one of two things, either low
brake fluid in the master (could be slopping as you accelerate) or that
the hand brake lever is up.  Which could be a flaky or misadjusted
switch.

As your brake pads wear down, more fluid goes into the slave cylinders,
so the level could drop enough over time to set off the warning.
