Yep, and there's a reason for that. The rebuilt axle shafts are rarely
the same quality as new parts. Often they are rebuilt joints, and they
often are not properly heat treated after machining. The resultant
product is  probably "good enough" if one is going to keep the car a
relatively short time, but for long term usage, the new parts are a
better bet.
