Shifter issue solved - hit by moron

Hi All, I took apart the center console this weekend and I am strong enough to
break the shifter mount. At the base of the mount there are two clean breaks I
came up with a way to attach the mount discretely to console and all is well.
The shifter feels like the PO put a short shift kit in :) Now for the bad news
My wife (the primary driver) was driving along on Sunday when she was hit by a
car without a driver. This genius left his automatic car in neutral on an
incline at a gas station. She's ok, the car now has a two dented driver's side
