02 sensor advice please

Hi folks,

i am gonna replace the 02 sensor on my 9020vq, what i want to do is to cut
and splice the existing wires on the new sensor i have 3 wires. 2 white with
no other colours that go to a plug and a black one that goes into a female
spade terminal. With the white wires do they need to be connected in any
particular way round???? Black wire i presume is obvious.
