It's been awhile since I've been subbed to the mother list. I had my head
full of ur quattros and 20v //S4s for the last two years it seems. Time to
change that! I just got over a baaaaad case of type 44'less blues. After
Keith Anderson stayed over for a week here in VT he flat out convinced me
that I'm nuts to drive my urq in the winter. Ok twist my arm. Said to the
wife, "You know, Keith said that I shouldn't drive the urq in the winter
dear..." So, I hooked up with Pete Flagg's (Autohaus) ex-type44 for my new
Vermont winter car - he gave me a rocking deal I couldn't resist. For an
everyday driver, I must say that this car equals my urq and even surpasses
my 93 //S4 for a HUGE fun factor. With the FAT 8x15 R8s and the Stebro pipe,
it just sounds soo trick!

Just to let you guys know the fire still burns deep here. Here are the specs
>>>

Type 44
1988 5000CS quattro MC1, Stone grey metallic, 234k miles, 8x15 Ronal R8s mit
205/60-15 BFGs, with Thompson modified rear fenders!, fuel pump relay,
override (dash switched), 1.6 bar spring, K&N air filter, mit Carrera Cup
sport cover, Stebro stainless steel rear exhaust, no center muffler. Very
kewl to drive, 8th quattro owned, goes like stink. We named him "Ocho" - how
fitting.
