> Is there such a thing? I have one of those painted black Bosal/Ansa systems and the paint is scraped off in parts on the rear case (http://www.swh.qwest.net/~mbenno2/Cars/Urq/my_urq/my%20rear.jpg). Does anyone know of a product I could use to touch it up with?
Most automotive shops should have a few colors of high heat paint on the
shelf. There's usually some 600 dF stuff and also 1200 or so. Looks
like you need black, mostly for the cosmetic of the back of the muffler,
so the heat won't be as bad as, say, the pipe right behind the cat.
As mentioned here already, barbecue paint should be perfect due to your
color preference, and easy to find. Prep it first with a scrubbing with
scotch-brite and a wipe down with alcohol or acetone (be careful of
fumes of course), otherwise the new paint won't last long.
