Plugged Cat 1990 200 TQ?

Hi everyone, are there any obvious symptoms or signs of a Cat Gone
Bad on my 1990 200 TQ. She has 189,000 milesruns pretty well, however
I do not think the turbo is performing correctly( I only get 1.3
bar). That is up from .9 since I fixed misc leaky hoses on engine and
turbo. I see that the cat bolts into the exhaust system, is it easy
to remove? Any reccomended solvents to to help bust the nuts? Any
suggestions for a source of a good replacement cat?
