Hi all ~
I couldn't move my car from Border's because some jerk turned off,
locked and parked his huge SUV in back of three of us while taking
time to shop -- we were blocked in for about 15 min. Called a squad
car to complain but to no avail. But that is another post.
I just read your email and I cannot tell you how much better I feel.
Thanks for the long laugh !!!
Actually I probably wouldn't have thought of Sears. So that rules
out Rapid Oil as well . . . .
But I think what I will do is to take it to a mechanic in East
Hartford whom someone on this list recommended.
I haven't been to him yet, but he can change the tranny fluid (I will
call first and ask whether he will put in what I bring, get some good
stuff), and have his listen to this noise while I am there.
The alternator is holding really well now, thanks to all the good
people on this list who helped out.
