Igor,
Comments inserted below!
Over the last month as I had the engine apart for the head rebuild I

Yep, some people don't even know the engine codes over there, that's
frustrating! Then there was this guy on the 4k/CGT forum who wanted to put
an AAN engine in his 4kq but who wasn't going to put it in by himself but
rather have his father and a bunch of his father's friends do it... and
this guy just kept on arguing with me that Audi had made an european RS4
based on the C4 chassis, thus with an I5 in it... poor dude was mismatching
the UrS4 and the RS2, saying that there had been an RS4 in 1995... and
after much argue, he finally admitted he had it wrong and that he meant the
RS2.... oh well...
>The last straw was my today's search with the following string: "a4

>technically ignorant kids big on ground effects, wings and polished
>exhaust tips.
Well, in the 4k/CGT section there are some more technically inclined guys
but that's just not the same as the quattro list! But the worse is in the
5k/200/V8 section where one of them didn't even know that the 3B was the
20vt and not the 20vNA... and some other guy who thought his 5ktq had
adjustable valve lifters and another one (maybe it was the same) who wanted
to advance the timing at the dizzy on his 5ktq as well... oh man! I guess
I'd be too frustrated to have only the Audiworld forums, how the h*ll don't
these people subscribe to the q-list or at least read the archives???
>Thank Heavens there is our beloved audifans with the technical lists out

Yup! You said it!
>BTW, the Bentley for the A4 doesn't show the procedure either. And no, I

>Four Audis ago I had flushed the sys just the way I had been always

Huh? Didn't know this could happen... I think disconnecting the lowest hose
from the radiator and removing the overflow tank cap will help... but there
*might* be some kind of a special procedure which I'm not aware of frankly...
>OK, off to starting the newly rebuilt 1.8T engine for the first time in

Fingers crossed for you Igor! I know how scary this can be, BTDT a little
more than a month ago with my 3B converted '85 coupe quattro (NA model
orginally)
