anyone need a set of pistons for a I-5 turbo motor??

well, i guess the main advantage is that there available. I contacted a
bunch of Mahle dealers and they don't have the OE pistons anywhere, let
alone the right oversize. Also custom forged pistons are much stronger
compared to stock cast pistons, and would put up w/ higher compression
ratios and/or boost. They're supposed to be lighter as well b/c it takes
less material to achieve the strength needed. And don't forget the fact
that they're custom and you can choose the right size and compression
ratio. that's what i can think of now...
