Well, my take on the article is that the reviewer can't make up his mind.
"It's faster than the S500"
"It has a SMALLER engine than the S500"
"but, oh, yeah, its more powerful."
"It's lighter than the S500, and really fast."
"I liked the interior better than the S500."
"It has AWD and a 6-speed automatic I like."
End point:
"The S500 is still the class leader."
Uhh...okay.
Mercedes is getting comfortable resting on its laurels- the ML500 is
a perfect example. Pretty crappy vehicle, yet it was still lauded by
some members of the press despite incredible shortcomings in the
build quality and interior appointments department. The revision
claimed "over 500 changes" and I saw one review that said "500
changes? Could have fooled us..."
