Lack of Power in the 1000-3000 RPM Range

Owner's manual = $10 from the dealership - last time I bought one, but that
was 4 years ago...
It's well worth it if you've never before owned an Audi. For example, all
the little warning lights in your dash readout are explained...
You won't need to ask the list "What does the orange circle, that looks like
Charlie Brown's head wearing headphones mean?"
(BTW, that's worn brake pads...)
Also, you'll learn that you have heated door locks, how to use them, and
that your side-view mirrors are heated, as well as your windshield sprinkler
nozzles, and that you can do a system check by - while completely stopped,
engine running - you press in and release on one of the 2 little pegs that
stick out of your dashboard.
Just don't grab those doorhandles too hard in the winter! They're known to
be a loose accessory item if overworked! (That's NOT in the owner's manual).
And don't operate the sunroof if it's frozen - the tracks are not built to
withstand any more pressure than the motor applies to the roof by itself -
without binding pressure! (Also not in the manual)
Have fun! If you can forgive - and perhaps live with - a few minor ¢5 and
¢10 irritations, in the big scheme of things you'll have many years of
enjoyment and driving pleasure out of that car!
