pity, the NF/NG heads have larger intake valves. ought to swap them and
get the seats reground?

Easy, depending on how hard you consider it to be to get them out. with
the head off, get on the floor, lower the subframe a bit, drop the oil
pan, undo the con rod big ends, push the pistons out (clean them,
inspect/hone cylinders, use new bearings...), pop out the rings, clean
the grooves for them and pop in new ones. Source at dealer or even
local/internet import places - I think Atlantic was able to get them no
problem. Helps to have three tools, a ring spreader for
removal/installation, a groove cleaner, and a ring compressor for
reinstallation (oh yeah, that one is pretty essential).
