I think it's alot of what you both said, plus
sometimes they remove ALOT of metal, depending on
what/which balls they are using. They don't even have
to match. And their tolerances aren't up to OEM.
"Usually." Do you REALLY think some 20something
dopehead high school dropout who makes $5.85 gives a
sh*t about tolerances? If it fits its good.
Loose/tight who cares? 10 more minutes til break.
